According to HCRealms, Wizkids announced during a retailer’s convention that they will be releasing a second set for their successful Lord of the Rings HeroClix line! These will be a product tie-in with the new film, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Information is sparse at this point, but the basic information presented is as follows:
The Hobbit HeroClix
- Will come in single-figure boosters and a campaign starter.
- Will be released “later this year” (2012).
- Includes optional epic level rules.
- There will be 30+ figures in this release.
This was announced at the Alliance Game distributors Open House, and a slide was captured during a recent trade show.
