Press Release from the Quest Gaming Network, in association with Middle-earth Network:
“Bring the Popular Ebook “Continia” to Print! The Quest Gaming Network is pleased to announce the Continia Kickstarter program! Continia is a fantasy novel written by Junior Wilson (aka Joe “the Wigit” Wilson, Producer of the Quest Gaming Network).
From the official Kickstarter page for Continia:
‘Continia was written by Junior Wilson… in a period of a year. He attempted to have Continia published and printed over the course of 8 years with little to no response. A year and a half ago, he was offered a publishing contract with Barnes and Noble and Amazon, but in eBook format only. The one downfall the book suffered was that the editor who originally worked on the book missed a lot of errors. Thanks to a very good friend of the author, he now has a very good editor fixing all the mistake the previous editor left behind.’
Kickstarter is a funding platform for creative projects. Over 24,000 projects have been successfully funded using Kickstarter. The site uses an all or nothing approach: Backers to the projects pledge funds and the project sets to meet a certain goal. If the goal is not reached, the backer’s credit cards are not charged. If the goal is reached in time, then the project starts the process of becoming a reality, thanks to the donors who helped fund the project.
As of now, Continia has a goal of $4000 to meet, and the kickstarter ends on September 3rd. At the time of this press release, $1,430 has been dontated.
Reviews from Barnes and Noble’s Continia page:

‘A must read for fantasy, action and love story lovers.’
‘This is a great book with an original storyline and believable characters. I recommend it to all who enjoy a good fantasy.’
Reviews from Amazon’s Continia page:
‘Adventure, Action, fantasy. The book draws you in. You care about the charaters. You will find yourselve marveling, cheering, and even sheding a tear or too. I enjoyed it very much! I hope it come out in print and would like to see more from this author.’
‘Continia is an amazing high fantasy tale about a man who comes to a strange land after surviving a plane crash. He goes on an epic adventure to free the world from Titus(a really bad dude) and restore a kingdom. This book is great and almost impossible to put down once you start (I finished it in about a day and not because its short). Certainly worth the 6 bucks. I’m not normally one to re-read books, but this is probably one i will come back to and read once the second is released. Jr Wilson does an outstanding job of creating emotional ties to his characters, and drawing you in and not letting go.’
Excerpt from review for Middle-earth Network by Art and Lit Reporter Joseph Bradford:
‘The story behind Continia differs from your normal fantasy novel. While most books have your main characters try and obtain a magical artifact which can be used to protect the world from it’s impending doom, or they have to destroy said artifact to preserve the world; Continia goes in a different direction. You follow the story of John, a man from our world who has found himself waking in the land of Continia, a vast continent that is home to many different races and cultures. The story follows John’s journey to find himself, and what is his lot in life. A loner back in our world, John finds himself breaking from that mold into someone who is the very center of the story. Along the way he meets various friends who help him along his journey: The Knight from Werigan named Rogart, a plains elf-princess named Val’laris, and an annoying little Magisrat named Verd. The four companions find themselves in plenty of sticky situations, and eventually in the middle of a War to wipe out Werigan. I won’t tell you too much more. The story is well crafted, and also well thought out. Refreshing to see this type of story in the genre, as it is a pleasant break from the norm.’
